Official assumptions
What this tool assumes
- For Express Funded Accounts, Topstep states that after the first payout the Maximum Loss Limit is set to $0.
- If the MLL has already reached $0, the capital remaining after payout is the maximum amount the trader can lose under this worksheet assumption.
- The next payout cycle differs by Standard versus Consistency payout path.
What this does not prove
- It does not verify dashboard data, support decisions, payout processing status, or current account agreement.
- It does not guarantee the account will remain open after payout.
- It is not trading, financial, tax, or legal advice.
Tool status
This checker is an educational rule worksheet. It does not read your Topstep dashboard and does not recommend a payout amount.
Why this tool matters
The rule consequence is easy to miss: the account label does not tell the trader how much room remains after payout.
